1. What is a pointed domain?

A pointed domain is simply an additional domain name the resolves to your site and can be set up in one of three ways:

1. As a new domain name that resolves to the same directory as your existing domain (also known as a parked domain):

-- There is no extra charge for this type of pointed domain.

2. As a subdomain of your existing domain the resolves to another directory within your site. For example, if your domain name were abc.com you could add a subdomain such as subdomain.abc.com and have it resolve to a subdirectory of your choice.

-- There is no extra charge for this type of pointed domain.

3. As a new domain name that resolves to another directory within your site.

-- There cost for this type of pointed domain is $5 per month.

Email for this domain can be set to mirror your primary domain (for example, if you add domain xyz.com as a parked domain to your existing domain abc.com, email sent to john_doe@abc.com and john_doe@xyz.com will be routed to the same location) or all email for the pointed domain can be set to go to one mailbox at another location (i.e. anything @pointed_domain.com can go to your gmail.com address)
