    LexiConn’s ShopSite Marketplace – display your store…

We will be adding a new section to our website that will contain a list of ShopSite stores hosted by LexiConn. The new program is voluntary, and will include links to ShopSite stores that are hosted at LexiConn. If you would like to have your ShopSite store listed on our website, just let us know.

As the list grows, we will choose a store at random to be our featured store, offering a description of the site and highlights of the ShopSite features that are being used. Periodically, a new store will be chosen at random to be a featured store.

Tip: Mini-cart implementation in ShopSite 7

In ShopSite 7 Pro stores, one of the most useful features is the mini cart. The mini cart is a link to your shopping cart that is on your regular webpages, that can contain a summary of the number of items and/or price of these items. It can be quite helpful to your customers to make it easy for them to know what is in their cart.

Implementation of the mini cart is simple if you are using one of the built-in ShopSite templates such as Rounded, Sidebar, Tab, or Stained Glass. If you’re not using one of these templates, it is still not hard to add a mini cart to your pages. ShopSite has put together some detailed documentation that explain step by step how to add the mini cart to your site:
