Update: iOS 13 instructions
  • Go to Settings
    on your IPhone

  • Under Accounts
    Mail, Contacts, Calendars

  • Under Accounts
    Add Account

  • Select
    from the
    list of
    account types

  • Select
    Add Mail Account

  • Select either POP3 or IMAP
    as the Account type

    1. POP3 accounts will download mail from your inbox on the server

    2. IMAP accounts try to synchronize mail in all of your mail folders with the server

  • 1. Enter your Full Name:

    Enter you name as you would like it to appear on your emails

    2. Email address/Password:

    Enter your full email address and account password

    3. Account Description:

    Enter the name you would like to use for this account in your list of accounts

    4. Click Save

    Your device will try to connect
    using various settings,
    but fail to connect.

    Next you will enter the settings manually.

  • 1. Host Name:

    Enter your incoming mailserver
    Click Here to look up your mail server.

    2. Username/Password:

    Enter your account username and password (the username should be the name of your mailbox, always lower-case, and not your full email address)

  • 1. Host Name:

    Enter your outgoing mail server (the same as the incoming mailserver)

    2. Username/Password:

    Enter your account username and password (the same username and password you entered for the incoming mail server)

  • Click Save
    to set up
    your account

  • Advanced Settings

    Scroll down and select Advanced

  • Custom SMTP Port

    Set the SMTP Server Port to 26 and click Done to complete the account set up
