In December 2006 Microsoft replaced Frontpage with Expression Web (part of Microsoft Expression Studio). Expression Web is a web authoring tool aimed more at professional web designers, and designed to provide standards-compliant page design using the WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) interface of Frontpage, along with XML, XSLT, ASP, CSS 2.0 authoring capabilities.
Microsoft Expression Web does not require that you have Frontpage extensions installed on your account.
