ShopSite March 2010 Newsletter
===========================================In this Month’s Newsletter:
* Product Review Module Updated: order status module integration, edit emails
* New ShopSite Tutorial: Prevent empty form submissions in multi add to cart forms
* From the Blog: Interview with GoDataFeed, Top Ecommerce Posts, Marketing, Getting Products Into ShopSite …
Product Review Module UpdatedOur Product Review Module add-on for ShopSite has been updated to include the following new features:
- * Ability for the merchant to review, edit, or delete queued emails that are scheduled to go out requesting reviews.
* Seamless integration with the Order Status Module, allowing for
the option to schedule an email to go out X days after an item
ships (instead of X days after an order is placed).
* Seamless integration with our Order Status Module to delete
queued review emails if that order is Canceled or Deleted in the
order status module.Timing the sending of an email requesting a customer write a review is crucial to maximize the number of reviews placed on your site. With this new version, it is now easy to automate this timing for the best results.
You can now make sure the email arrives a set period of time after an item ships, guaranteeing that the customer has the product *before* they receive this email asking them to leave a review on your site.
If you have our product review module and would like to be upgraded to this latest version, simply email us at support@lexiconn.com requesting this free, seamless upgrade.
New Tutorial – Prevent Empty Form SubmissionsWe have posted a new ShopSite Tutorial that discusses how to prevent empty form submissions for multi add-to-cart pages that would result in an error message.
