Fraud Deterrent Module

We are pleased to announce a new module for ShopSite. The Fraud Deterrent Module can be used by any ShopSite merchant (Manager or Pro version 7 or higher) to help filter out fraudulent orders based on the IP of the customer. The module can block customers from checking out based on the country their IP originates from, allows the merchant to add individual IP’s to the block list, and can include the country based on the IP of the customer with each ShopSite order for Pro stores.

Specific features include:

- Easy to use web based interface for selecting which countries to prevent from ordering.
- Module brings up a custom page instead of checkout page when a blocked user attempts to check out. Layout/text is fully customizable.
- Include the country the IP is from on each order (Pro only).
- Add any number of individual IP’s to the blocked list.
- Country to IP database updated monthly, 99% accurate.

The module is installed by LexiConn, and only requires a few lines of code to be added to a custom cart template (included in the setup).

The cost of the module is a one time fee of $99.00, which includes installation and support.

Stylophane Sales Analytics – sales and marketing reports

Last month we introduced our Cart Abandonment Module, which is a great tool for analyzing and understanding customer habits during the ordering process. If you are looking for more in depth sales and marketing data to further enhance future sales and promotions, Stylophane Sales Analytics (SSA) is a robust solution. LexiConn has partnered with SSA to provide ShopSite Pro merchants with sales and marketing reporting that can be used to develop targeted email campaigns, analyze sales trends, and compare different periods of time for the effectiveness of various campaigns.

Stylophane offers a free 30 day trial of their service to any ShopSite Pro store. It requires a few lines of javascript code and a simple order API that we can install into your account. Pricing starts at $79.00 per month for up to 500 monthly transactions. They also have a functioning demo of the service on their website.
