    In this month’s issue:
    - ShopSite 7.1.4.1 version released – All 7.1.x stores upgraded
    - New Auth.net features in ShopSite 7.1.4

ShopSite 7.1.4.1 version released – All 7.1.x stores upgraded

ShopSite has released a maintenance version to correct bugs and
improve various features. All stores that were previously version 7.1.x were automatically upgraded to this latest version. Major improvements are:

    - Paypal fix for paypal purchases (very important to those accepting paypal)
    - Tax was being calculated incorrectly with combination of gift cert, products, and coupons
    - Improved database upload support for large files
    - Authorize.net integration was improved to meet the latest standards
    - Enhanced support for newer web browsers and for those browsers blocking cookies

If you are still running a version 7.0.x store (You can check your version in the backoffice when you first login at the bottom of the page), the upgrade to 7.1.4.1 is free, seamless, and is highly recommended. Simply send us an email requesting that we upgrade your store, and we can do so, or fill out the upgrade request at:
    https://lexiconn.com/lexiconn/shopsite_v7_upgrade.html

For those merchants running older version 5 or 6 stores, the upgrade fee is a one time fee of $125.00 for a Manager store or $325.00 for a Pro store.

New Auth.net features in ShopSite 7.1.4

In ShopSite 7.1.4, two new settings were added to the Configure Processor section of the ShopSite backoffice for those merchants using Authorize.net as their payment gateway.

“Send email to customer” – You can now control whether the customer gets a copy of the Authorize.net email receipt sent from Authorize.net in the backoffice. This is separate from the email receipt ShopSite sends out. The setting in the ShopSite backoffice will override the default setting in your Auth.net control panel.

“Email address for merchant copy” – You can now define a specific email address separate from the main one you have set in Authorize.net for receiving the Auth.net receipt as the merchant. Leaving this blank will default to the email address you have set in the Auth.net control panel.

    Sincerely,
    - The LexiConn Team
