New Module – MySQL DB ModuleWe are pleased to announce our latest ShopSite add-on module, the MySQL DB Module. This new module will sync all the ShopSite data (pages, products, settings) to a MySQL database on a set schedule (hourly, daily, etc…). This will allow easy access via PHP / Perl code for those merchants that want to display more dynamic elements.
Note: Most merchants will not need this module. Unless you have a specific need for custom PHP code to display dynamic data (such as real time inventory, dynamic product displays, sales price savings being displayed, etc…), then this will not be something that you would have installed.
The module comes with detailed instructions on how to access any of the data via simple php functions, making it easy to integrate for a developer. Alternatively, you can also opt to use the raw data in MySQL for your own coded application.
You can read more about this module on our website at:

New Tutorial – Pages in Search ResultsWe have posted a new ShopSite Tutorial that explains how to get a ShopSite page (e.g. Contact us, Shipping policy, Returns) to be returned in the search results along with products. By default, the ShopSite search only indexes products. This process allows you to index your web page content as well.
Read more about it in our Tutorials Section of our website.
