In the first step towards a completely redesigned Account Manager, LexiConn has made available a new browser based file manager called FileMan. The new feature is an easy to use, extremely powerful file manager and file editor, which is a major improvement over the old WebShell system.

    FileMan features:
    - Create new files using a WYSIWYG html editor (like FrontPage or DreamWeaver)
    - Edit existing files, either in WYSIWYG HTML editor or plain text.
    - Upload one or multiple files and handles ascii/binary transfers
    - Search for files based on file names, or full text searches
    - Multi file search and replace
    - Archive management – create, view, extract .tar files as well as .tar.gz files
    - Quickly check whether your perl files compile
    - Copy single files, or whole directories recursively
    - You can set permissions of groups of files using either numeric codes (755) or checkboxes for permissions (rwxr-xr-x)
    - FileMan can view the last n lines of a large file efficently. Quickly view the end of a large access log, or other log file.

FileMan uses an intuitive, well laid out interface that makes managing your website from the web a snap. The built-in editor allows you to insert HTML tags and format a webpage without any real need to know the HTML code behind it.

You may access FileMan from the Account Manager or directly:

(Just replace your_domain.com with your account domain name.)
