The latest virus/worm, named MyDoom, is spreading rapidly across the Internet. The virus infects any Microsoft Otulook / Outlook Express mail client, and then starts sending itself to every address in the user’s address book. It also forges the from: headers to appear as if it came from another computer.
The email often has a random subject such as test or hi, and contains an attachment that ends in .zip, .exe, .pif, .scr, .cmd, .bat. Once opened, the virus then begins its takeover of the infected computer. You should make sure you virus protection software is up to date, and is currently running on your computer. It is also advisable to perform a full system scan.

We are attempting to filter out as much of this virus as possible at the server level, but because this new virus is changing so quickly, it is not possible to stop all of them from going into people’s mailboxes.
