Payment Gateway and Merchant accounts…

LexiConn is pleased to announce our partnerships with Authorize.net and e-onlinedata for offering our clients a Payment Gateway and Merchant Account solution for handling credit cards via the web. Authorize.net is a leading payment gateway company, allowing real-time credit card processing to be carried out in any ecommerce application. e-onlinedata is a Merchant Account provider that can integrate seamlessly with Authorize.net.

LexiConn is now an approved Authorize.net Reseller. We are able to offer competitive rates for online payment processing, as well as offering our support and expertise with integrating this solution into Shopsite or an ecommerce application. To kick things off, we are introducing a special signup rate to existing clients of LexiConn as of October 31, 2002. This offer will expire at the end of the year. Signup for Authorize.net through LexiConn and receive the following discounted rates:
- $99 setup fee (normally $149)
- $20/month Gateway access fee.
- $0.07 per transaction fee (normally $0.10)

If you do not have a Merchant account, we can provide you with one through our partnership with e-onlinedata at the following rates:
- 2.29% Discount Rate
- $0.30 per transaction fee
- $10/month Statement fee
Or you are free to use any other Merchant Account that is compatible with Authorize.net.

If you already have an Authorize.net account with another company, and wish to go through LexiConn instead, we have a transition process that can transfer your account to our services.

Introducing ScanAlert…

LexiConn has partnered with ScanAlert to offer our clients a valuable service that will help to improve sales and put customers at ease when ordering from your online storefront. The service only costs $9.95 per month for Shopsite and Miva Merchant clients (50% discount special for Shopsite and Miva Merchant clients), and $19.95 for all other web hosting clients. The image is easy to place on your site, and will help to show your shoppers that your site is safe. ScanAlert performs thorough daily scans of our servers and network to continually validate our “Hacker Safe” rating.

“HACKER SAFE” is ScanAlert’s highest security rating. To achieve this rating their testing must indicate that our machines have no known security holes at this time, and that we consistently close any newly discovered vulnerabilities in less than 48 hours, demonstrating heightened security. In addition to this, they scan your site and cgi scripts daily looking for vulnerabilities as well.

With more hacking incidents occuring everyday, having a 3rd party independent verification of your site’s security is a valuable selling point to put your customers at ease when they come to your website. This service can help differentiate your website from the other sites on the Internet.
