ShopSite Version 12 Released

ShopSite recently released version 12 of its award winning ecommerce solution. We assisted ShopSite with beta testing of this new version, and now have hundreds of stores running this latest release.

Version 12 has many new features, including a built-in wishlist system, post order management that includes tracking numbers and shipment status, new responsive (i.e. mobile friendly) templates, and more.

As you may recall from past newsletters, we offer a Content Delivery Network (CDN). This service helps many client websites load faster for visitors in various geographical areas in the United States and around the world.

In a nutshell, this service takes a copy of your files (images, JavaScript, css) and makes them available across a global network. The files are served to visitors according to their location, thereby giving everyone the fastest possible website loading time.

It is a cost effective and simple way to make your site faster for your visitors. With version 12 of ShopSite, integrating the CDN for images is seamless and quite painless as it only involves a single configuration change to make all of your images load from the CDN.
