* From the Blog…Domain Name Updates
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has recently released new regulations with respect to domain names. One such regulation is that all domain registrations now must have a working/valid admin email address. An address is tested periodically with either a domain renewal reminder, or a WHOIS contact information verification request. If the address bounces, then the domain owner risks having their domain name suspended by the parent registrar.Further, once an update is made to a domain record, the admin email address on file must approve the change. Thus, if you do ever make an update to your information, be sure to also approve that update in order to avoid domain suspension issues.
We have had a few clients (whose domains are with other registrars) have their domain names suspended already. This often comes without notice, since in most cases, the admin email address is bouncing and the owner isn’t aware that any action is required.
We highly recommend that all domain owners double check that their information is current. This can easily be done via the lookup tool on our domains site:

If any information is out of date, you will want to promptly update it with your registrar. If LexiConn is your registrar and you make the update through us, the aforementioned email containing your update verification link will have a subject line of ‘Action Required: Domain Name Validation must be completed promptly’.
You are of course welcome to use any registrar you would like, but we are only able to monitor domains requiring updates that are in our registry. If you would like to transfer your domain name to our registry, the transfer is $25 and it adds a year to your current expiration date. You can initiate the transfer via this link:
