WordPress, the most popular open source blog software on the internet, has been updated in the LexiConn Account Manager to version 3.0.5. This latest release is a security and bug fix release. The prior release, version 3.0.4, was a critical security release, and all WordPress blog owners running a version older than 3.0.4 should upgrade immediately. Upgrading is easy to do right from your blog’s admin dashboard. If you run into any problems during the upgrade, feel free to contact us.
All LexiConn accounts include the option of having a WordPress blog. If you don’t yet have a blog and are interested in installing one, you can do so easily in the Account Manager under Applications -> Miscellaneous -> WordPress:

True BusinessID with EV Promotion Reminder
Just a quick reminder that our EV SSL certificate promotion is still in effect through the end of February! We will be able to offer a discounted rate of $199 per year on any new GeoTrust True BusinessID with EV SSL certificate ordered prior to that date. This is the lowest price we’ve ever been able to offer on this type of certificate and it is regularly priced at $299 per year. This special rate is only available for new GeoTrust EV SSL certificate orders placed by February 28, 2011 and does not apply to renewals of existing certificates.Extended Validation (EV) secure certificates are a great way to build consumer confidence and increase conversion rates. The eye catching green bar is becoming the new standard for instant recognition of website security with the added benefit of showing the consumer that your business identity has been verified as well.
Here is an example of what the browser bar would look like to your shoppers when they are on a secure page if you had an EV SSL certificate:

We have a few blog posts that go into more detail on EV certificates:

Complete details and ordering instructions for all of our SSL certificate offerings can be found on our website by clicking on the link below:

There has never been a better time to buy a new GeoTrust EV SSL certificate or switch to an EV certificate if you currently utilize another type of SSL. This special offer is valid through February 28, 2011.
