We hope that you enjoy the new look and find the site both appealing and easy to navigate!

Internet Explorer – version 7…Version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) was released last year by Microsoft, and, according to Net Applications, it now accounts for nearly 20% of all browsers in use. Several changes are apparent in the new browser, including tabbed browsing, the display of favicons in the address bar, and the secure padlock being displayed at the top of the screen when browsing secure pages.
A favicon, which stands for favorite icon, is a small icon that is displayed in the address bar, next to the URL. With prior versions of Internet Explorer, the favicon was only visible when looking at your list of favorites. Now that it is displayed more prominently in IE7, it may be beneficial for your website to have one for use as a branding tool and to aid in site recognition.
Here are some useful links for creating a favicon:

http://www.2createawebsite.com/enhance/create-favicon.htmlIn order to improve security, IE7 blocks navigation to secure (https) sites that have security certificates containing errors, including expired certificates. A blank white screen will appear, as opposed to a browser warning, which is how IE6 handled these sorts of issues. Hence, if you have your own SSL certificate, you will want to take extra care to ensure that it does not expire, as IE7 users won’t even see a certificate error anymore, as they will just be routed to a blank white page.
