LexiConn celebrates 10 years of web hosting!

LexiConn Internet Services, Inc., founded in February of 1996, has been hosting websites and ecommerce stores for 10 years. We are very excited about this milestone, and look forward to the next 10 years! We would like to thank all of our loyal customers who helped us achieve this milestone.

LexiConn began by knocking on the doors of local businesses, asking them if they wanted a website. Ten years later, we now host clients hailing from numerous different countries, while still proudly serving many of the same local Connecticut clients that have been with us since our inception. LexiConn is one of only a handful of web hosting companies still under the same private ownership and name for 10 years, and we have many of the same clients that started hosting with us back in 1996. We credit this longevity and customer loyalty to the personal service and attention devoted to each and every customer, in addition to superior network stability.

LexiConn has changed with the times without losing sight of our core principles: A client centric approach to hosting combined with high reliability and support for the latest technologies. Thanks again for your support and we look forward to serving you over the next ten years!

WordPress blog software updated to version 2.0.1…

WordPress, the award winning blog software that can be installed from the LexiConn Account Manager, has been upgraded to the latest version, 2.0.1 (previous version was 1.5). This new version is a complete rewrite, with many new features and fixes. Some of the highlights are:

- Completely redesigned backend
- Better wysiwyg editing
- Included spam and backup plugins
- Post preview
- Easier header customization
- Theme preview
- Improved importing and posting

Any previously installed WordPress software has *not* been upgraded. If you wish to upgrade to 2.0.1, you may do so following the upgrade instructions from WordPress:
