    Reviews


    Reviews are an important part of your online presence, and should not be overlooked. Adding reviews to your site can increase conversion rates, buying frequency, improve customer satisfaction, and much more. Reviews can include both reviews of your company/business, as well as reviews of your individual products (if applicable).

    Aside from the implementation on your site, another advantage to Shopper Approved is that their reviews code is already able to be parsed by Google. This means that your ratings can be part of the actual search result. You can of course use your own markup code to get your reviews indexed as part of a search result, but using a service that already does this makes it even easier.     Aside from company based reviews, if you are selling products online, you should also offer your customers the ability to review the products they purchase. If you are using the ShopSite ecommerce software, you have a few different options to choose from with respect to product reviews.

    One such option would be to use the Product Review Module that we developed. This module was created several years ago and recently enhanced to include a built-in email system which can automatically request reviews from customers.     If you are using ShopSite Pro 11 SP2, another option you have is to use the built in ShopSite reviews system. With their system, the merchant can control whether shoppers can review all products, or only registered customers can review products that they have previously purchased. All of the configuration options for their system is located in the back office under Merchandising -> Product Reviews -> Configure. Complete documentation on the feature is located at:
