As you may recall, we announced our Content Delivery Network (CDN) ( http://www.lexiconn.com/services/cdn.html ) offering a few months ago. This service helps many client websites load faster for visitors in various geographical areas in the United States and around the world. We recently improved the offering by switching from Internap to Edgecast. Switching to Edgecast has improved the CDN with:

* Faster Routing
* Intelligent Platform (serves small files from RAM and large files from disk to ensure maximum performance)
* Global Load Balancing

In a nutshell, this service takes a copy of your files (images, javascript, css) and makes them available across a global network. The files are served to visitors according to their location which means your site loads faster for everyone.

At only $20/month for up to 50 GB of data transfer, it’s a cost effective and simple way to make your site faster for your visitors.
