LexiConn has instituted a filter for the Klez virus for all incoming email accounts. This is not a substitute for your personal computer virus software, but rather a way of cutting down on the number and size of viruses that can accumulate in a mailbox. The filter is blocking over 1000 klez email viruses per day, which translates to 200+ megabytes of space saved per day.

Klez is the most common email virus in existence today. It is easily detected and stopped at the server level, as well as by your virus software on your computer. Blocking it at the server level has the added bonus of it not even reaching your mailbox, thereby clearing up your inbox, and saving you time by not having to download all those virus emails.

The filter will NOT block legitimate email, as it only detects the presence of the klez virus itself.
