The Guestbook software that can be installed from the Account Manager has been upgraded to the latest version 1.30.
This new version has a few bugfixes and security enhancements to cut down on guestbook spam:
- Removal of Homepage/URL fields to reduce spamming
- Bug fix to prevent non-standard line break combinations from corrupting the database files
- Improved anti-spambot features including image verification and URL screening.
- Display of guest e-mail address is now optional and focus is set on the input and confirmation forms.
Any old guestbooks previously installed have not been upgraded. If you want to have your guestbook upgraded, just let us know.
