A gift from Ever After may be a token of gratitude or a grand gesture of love. They have gifts for family, friends, newborns, teachers, pets, weddings, birthdays or “just because”. Owner Karla states, “Our gifts are timeless — our philosophy is timeless. We celebrate love and happy endings and all things that we carry joyfully in our hearts forever.”
Technologies Used: Karla went on to state, “After using a different hosting service for several years, we have found the ultimate for our web hosting needs with LexiConn and ShopSite. LexiConn support must be the best in the industry – we have yet to not get immediate support and it is always superior help. Considering our old hosting service wasn’t concerned with our needs (even if our site was down), and getting a return call was next-to-impossible, receiving customer service and support from LexiConn has been a 180-degree, nothing-but-good experience for us.
In the design of our website, we purposely avoided the use of intro pages, flash, and other fancy bells and whistles because we feel simple is easier for the search engine spiders. We do take full advantage of ShopSite plug-ins and love the customer registration, coupons, and rewards. We have enjoyed offering these to our customers and feel it has enhanced our customer shopping experience.
The coupons and rewards are beneficial to the success of our site, and we make sure to include a printed coupon for a future purchase and include it with each-and-every shipped order. We are able to track this based on the coupon code, and it is beneficial to future sales.
We send an email out before every major holiday and/or once per month. We see a large jump in sales with each newsletter, and it is an excellent way to let our customers know about our current coupons and promotions. We are careful not to abuse the email sending, because we feel customers stop reading emails that are sent too frequently. The email newsletters are work to produce, and although we could spend a short amount of time on the edition, we feel putting out a professional looking document is worth the time and makes a difference in the response of the customer. It is important to make sure every coupon, reward, image and link works and takes the customer to the appropriate landing page.”
