We bought the company back in October 2012, after it’s previous owner had pretty much left it for dead. We’ve seen a great year to year growth due to keeping the customer aware when there are issues and being diligent on getting tracking information to them.
We are looking to acquire more warehouse space and start to acquire more relationships with manufacturers so as to eliminate the dropship middle man. As of today, we sell roughly 550,000 products SKUs and over 400 manufacturers. These include but are not limited to Centerforce Clutches, Zex Nitrous Systems, Com Cams, Crower Cams, Amp Power Steps, Fox Shocks, Fabtech Suspensions, Magnaflow and Borla exhaust. We specialize in mostly American muscle, gas and diesel light duty trucks, but have access to a wide range of parts including not only Japanese, but German cars and trucks.”
Technologies Used: Frank continued, “We utilize ShopSite, LexiConn, MySQL, GeoTrust, Constant Contact, PHP, and Google Analytics. PHP has given us the ability to make use of the Order Anywhere function in ShopSite as well as pull different content for the same page as needed by the consumer. MySQL has helped us with a Q & A database for our customers. GeoTrust has helped secure our site and provide customers with confidence. Constant Contact keeps us in touch with our customers.”
