“Our business began online in the late 90′s by using Ebay, snogear.com, cycleluggage.com, and extragear1.com. In 2007 we needed another hosting company and tried LexiConn. They are the best hosting company we’ve ever experienced! First we hosted cycleluggage.com and then extragear1.com with LexiConn.
This year, we decided to change the snogear.com site from an informational website to an ecommerce driven site that would replace extragear1.com. LexiConn made this move simple and smooth.”
Technologies Used: Tim continued, “We use the ShopSite software as our ecommerce platform. We also utilize PHP, MySQL, addthis, a few small custom built programs to deal with inventory and a potpourri of other technologies and services. These include several LexiConn developed modules which we have implemented over time.”
Advice / Tips: Tim finished, “If you are troubleshooting or trying something new, first clearly determine what you’re trying to do. Secondly, try troubleshooting it yourself, but if you get stuck, LexiConn support will usually entertain almost any question. They have an amazing range of knowledge and while they can’t solve everything, they’ve often pointed us in the right direction. As we like to tell them, they put the wind back in our sails.”
