Description: Levon Helm has been in the music business for over forty years, and has had an online presence for the past several. The website offers tour information, audio/video clips, photos, an online store selling CDs, DVDs, tickets, T-shirts, caps, posters and more. Music legends galore have played, jammed and recorded in “The Barn”, and Helm is happily continuing that tradition. He based his Ramble Sessions on the southern medicine shows of his youth and has invited some of the most notable entertainers and musicians of our time to perform at The Midnight Rambles.
Technologies Used: The online store portion of the website was built using ShopSite Pro version 9, whereas the non-store pages were created outside of ShopSite. The site itself is hosted on its own Managed Server, which provides ample amounts of space and bandwidth to accommodate the popular site. The SSL certificate was purchased through GeoTrust and allows customers to checkout through the online store with confidence. Levon Helm’s site also makes use of the newsletter system offered by LexiConn, which is a great way to keep fans/customers informed of the latest happenings.
