LexiConn has instituted a filter for the Bugbear virus for all incoming email accounts. This is not a substitute for your personal computer virus software, but rather a way of cutting down on the number and size of viruses that can accumulate in a mailbox.

Bugbear is rapidly becoming one of the fastest spreading viruses on the Net right now. It is easily detected and stopped at the server level, as well as by your virus software on your computer. Blocking it at the server level has the added bonus of it not even reaching your mailbox, thereby clearing up your inbox, and saving you time by not having to download all those virus emails.

The filter will NOT block legitimate email, as it only detects the presence of the bugbear virus itself.
