    Upgraded Hosting Packages

We are pleased to announce that two of our hosting packages now have increased allotments. The upgraded packages include substantial ncreases to the allotted disk space and/or bandwidth. Hosting fees will remain the same as they are currently. The new specifications are as follows:

    Advanced Account -
    Previous Allocation: 1500 MB space
    New Specification: 2000 MB space

    ShopSite Account -
Previous Allocation: 3000 MB space, 80 GB monthly transfer
New Specifications: 4000 MB space, 100 GB monthly transfer

We hope that these upgrades will provide more room for you to grow within your existing accounts. Please note that we have adjusted the billing record for any client that was previously paying disk space overages based off of the old allocations.

Content Delivery Network – Make Your Site Faster

Our Content Delivery Network (http://www.lexiconn.com/services/cdn.html) (CDN) offering, which we announced a few months ago, is helping many client websites load more quickly for visitors in various geographical areas in the United States and around the world. Website owners have seen speed increases from 1 to 4 seconds faster after fully implementing the service.

In a nutshell, a CDN takes a copy of your files (images, javascript, css) and makes them available across a global network. Using geo-location technology, it serves these files to visitors from the fastest (and often closest) location (node) on the CDN. The bottom line – your site loads
    faster for everyone.

Afraid it might take a lot of work to integrate into your website or ShopSite ecommerce store? It’s as easy as changing “www.” in your URLs to “cdn.” (or whatever subdomain you choose). That’s all there is to it. If you’re using ShopSite, we’ll even automate this part for all of your product images!

At only $20/month for up to 50 GB of data transfer (which is more than enough for most websites), it’s a cost effective and simple way to make your site faster for your visitors.
