LEXICONN – SEPTEMBER 2011 NEWSLETTER
===========================================IN THIS MONTH’S NEWSLETTER…
* NEWSLETTER OPTIONS
* FEATURED CLIENT: CORPORATESNOBS.COM
* FROM THE BLOG…NEWSLETTER OPTIONS
In last month’s newsletter we focused on various options you have related to email hosting with LexiConn. The topic for this month will focus on various newsletter options you have available to you.The majority of our clients choose to use our in-house offering for newsletters as it’s significantly cheaper than most third party options. We offer a customized version of the Active Campaign product, and you can read complete details about it at:
http://www.lexiconn.com/services/mailing_list.html
The above link will provide you with detailed information about the offering, including features, screenshots, and pricing tiers. For those of you already using the product, we’ve recently upgraded it to the latest release, which has added many new features as well as an improved interface.
Major new features include:
* Simplified and improved the ‘Create Campaign’ section
* ‘Email Messages’ section has been removed in order to streamline the flow. Editing/adding messages now occurs only in the ‘Create Campaign’ section (old messages not previously assigned to campaigns are now in the ‘Email Templates’ section).
* Trend reporting in ‘Reports’ section is improved and updated.
* Many minor bug fixes
You can sign up for a free 30 day trial of the program (or feel free to select one of the higher tiers) at:
https://www.lexiconn.com/secure/add_mailing.html
For those of you that prefer to use a different service, Constant Contact is an excellent choice and is used by many of our clients. Complete details about that offering can be found on the Constant Contact website located here:
http://reseller.roving.com/index.jsp?pn=lexiconn&pd=lexiconn
If you are a ShopSite Pro customer using either our in-house solution or Constant Contact, we have a free module that can auto-subscribe people that purchase from your store to a mailing list of your choice. Simply email us the list name you would like purchasers subscribed to and we’ll install the module for you. Version 11 of ShopSite also offers built-in support for Constant Contact integration under MERCHANDISING -> CONSTANT CONTACT.
