Technologies Used: Matt continued, “We use Nextopia Site Search and Navigation to allow a dynamic shopping experience with the benefits of a static shopping cart like ShopSite. We also use Nextopia to dynamically present cross sell products based on search popularity and it will soon power our mobile shopping experience.
Other important third party tools that are used in conjunction with the ShopSite platform are the LexiConn Product Reviews Module, Olark Chat, and Constant Contact for email signup and delivery. We also carry the VeriSign SSL Certificate and McAfee Secure scan services to increase shopper trust and confidence.
Another important application that we use is Ordoro for fulfillment. Ordoro allows us to fulfill orders from all nine of our brick and mortars if need be. We have specific products in stock at our store locations but not in the warehouse – Ordoro created a solution that allows us to easily process multi-shipments per order if need be. When our stores turn the lights out at night, we are still able to sell that merchandise online 24/7 which has more than doubled our inventory turn!”
