    Order Status Module Patched

Our Order Status Module has been patched for all store owners running the latest ShopSite version. The patch adds support for the new “advanced ordering options” in ShopSite 10 SP2. There is now a textbox for the option / alternate SKU if it is being used.

Another feature has been added to the module as well. When manually entering a new line item for an order, typing the first few characters of a SKU will now bring up a dropdown showing all SKUs that match what you typed. It’s a simple time-saver allowing you to select the SKU for the new line item rather than requiring it to be typed in manually. Additionally, the name and price of the product will be auto-populated once the SKU is selected.

    Feeds, Feeds, Everywhere…

It seems there are more and more shopping comparison sites popping up each week. From the “king of the hill” Google Product Search, to newcomers like Bing and Wishpot, there are a growing number of ways to get your products seen by others.

Although ShopSite makes it relatively easy to push your products to Google, it may not be wise to use just Google. Many of these comparison sites get a lot of visitors looking for specifics on a product. You will likely want to be visible in searches in these other comparison engines as well.

If you’re looking for a way to automate submitting your products to the large number of shopping comparison services, we have partnered with GoDataFeed to make this process easy, quick, and automatic.
