WordPress has released version 2.8.4, which is a security fix release. This fixes an issue where a malicious URL can be sent to reset the admin password (they cannot get the password but it will trigger a reset and an email sent to the admin email address). It is highly recommended that all earlier 2.8 versions upgrade to this release.

If you have an existing blog that is newer than version 2.6, you can run the auto upgrade from the WordPress dashboard (using your FTP username/password) and it should automatically upgrade your blog. If you’re having any problems, let us know, and we can help with the upgrade.

Any new one click blog installs from the LexiConn Account Manager will be at the 2.8.4 release version.
