New Office Location…
- Phone Service Interruption on Friday, 4/27/2007Effective April 30, 2007, the LexiConn Support Office is moving to a new location. Please note the new address below and update all records accordingly as any remittance should be sent to this address.
LexiConn Internet Services, Inc.
63 Norwich Avenue, Suite 102
Colchester, CT 06415Due to transition issues with the phone company in regard to moving our existing phone numbers to the new location, our phone system will be offline on Friday, April 27th. Email and helpdesk support will remain unaffected. To confirm, on Friday, April 27th all support requests must be sent to LexiConn via email or by using our helpdesk as phone service will not be operational. We do apologize for this inconvenience. Unfortunately, AT&T would not provide us with a more seamless mechanism to make this transition.
Regular phone support hours will resume normally on Monday, April 30th. Our phone and fax numbers will remain the same.
* Note that this move only affects our support office, and does not affect the datacenter or your server in any fashion.
All postal mail, parcels and any delivered correspondence should be addressed to our new address. If possible, please pass this new contact information along to the appropriate personnel in the event that they are not subscribed to our newsletter.

SSH2 Enabled…SSH is a secure encrypted protocol used to gain shell access to your hosting account. SSH has two main protocol versions, SSH1 and SSH2. LexiConn is no longer supporting SSH1, as SSH2 is the newer, more secure protocol. Effective immediately, those clients using SSH to connect to their LexiConn accounts will want to update their settings to use SSH2.
If you are interested in using SSH, a popular and free SSH client that runs on the Windows operating system is called Putty, which can be downloaded at:
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/For those interested in purchasing a more robust, commercial program, you may wish to try SecureCRT:
http://www.vandyke.com/products/securecrt/index.htmlPlease note that this change does not affect the hosting of your website in any way, and has no impact whatsoever on the majority of clients, as most clients are not connecting via SSH.

Rex Art is a fourth generation family owned art supply store that has been serving the creative community from their sunny location in Miami, FL since 1950. In 1995 they opened the first online art supply store, which now generates the majority of their business.
