If you use Comast cable for your Internet access, you may need to adjust your outgoing SMTP mailserver in your email program for sending out emails. Comcast has recently begun blocking the use of 3rd party SMTP servers to try and cut down on spam caused by infected personal computers sending out spam email directly. What this means is that you can only have your SMTP outgoing mailserver set to that of Comcast’s mailserver, which is:
smtp.comcast.net
So, you will not be able to set the SMTP server to that of your domain name that is hosted with LexiConn if you use Comcast. Note that you can still have your email address set to an address at your domain name. The SMTP setting only tells your computer which network to send its email out through.
