US Postal Service PatchOn Sunday January 2nd, The US Postal Service (USPS) released their updated pricing and API changes. These changes were supposed to be transparent and seamless, but problems arose.
USPS made unannounced and undocumented changes to the way shipping services were returned, which broke international and first class rates for many ecommerce solutions, including ShopSite. We knew about this right away, and worked with ShopSite to help identify the problem to facilitate the release of a patch.
By Wednesday we had all version 10 SP2r2 stores patched and functioning normally again, as well as our legacy USPS shipping APIs.
