  • Open Thunderbird and select Create a New Account

  • Enter your full name, email address and password then click Continue

  • Thunderbird will try to configure your email settings.
    Click Manual config to interrupt this process

  • Incoming Mail Server Type:

    Select either IMAP or POP from the dropdown box

  • Incoming Mail Server Settings:

    1. Enter incoming mailserver under Server hostname
    Click here to find your incoming mailserver


    2. Leave the port set to the default


    3. Select SSL/TLS in the SSL dropdown


    4. Select Normal Password in the Authentication dropdown

  • Outgoing Mail Server Settings:

    1. Enter your outgoing mail server (the same as the incoming mailserver)


    2. Set the port to 26


    3. Select STARTTLS in the SSL dropdown


    4. Select Normal Password in the Authentication dropdown


  • Mailbox Username:

    Enter your mailbox username in the Username box then click Create Account to complete the account setup process
